Coach's Corner Spring #5

Dear Club Members,
It is time for another update on our teams progress. Our teams are staying very busy practicing and playing.Since my last BUSC report we had teams playing in several soccer events.
The most important one was our U16 Girls playing in Round of 16 of the State Cup. Girls won on Saturday 1:0 against Chargers SC Elite and advanced to the Round of 8. Girls lost on Sunday after a very exciting game against Tampa Bay United 1:2. It was another very successful State Cup season for our girls. Congratulations to girls and Coach Jon !
Our teams also participated in 3 other Tournaments.
At Gulf Coast Invitational in Pensacola our U13Girls won Championsship playing in U14 age bracket. Our U11Girls came back as finalist after very good weekend of soccer.
At Navarre Beach Shootout, we came back with U10Boys Blue Champions, U9Girls Finalist and U12Girls Finalist. It was the very first Tournament for our combined U12Girls teams in 11v11 format playing in U14 age bracket.
And the last weekend was Emerald Coast Cup in Destin, U9 Girls Finalist after painful loss in the final game in pk shootout, U13Boys also Finalists and U11Girls were Champions after huge domination in every game of the tournament.
Two BUSC teams U9 and U10 Boys will travel to Mobile this weekend to play in Mobile Bay Spring Classic .
Next weekend some of our BUSC teams will travel to Atlanta . Update: Congratualtions U9G and U12G Blue for winning Championship and U10 boys for coming in 2nd in their division.

One more reminder that registration is open for incoming tryouts for 2013/2014 season onMay 30, June 1 &3. We will post on our web page exact times for tryouts for each team and coach assignments in a couple of days.
We will also start registration for our Summer Camps .You will find more information regarding camps on our web page also.
